Although it is considered healthy, there is a bad side that is hidden if you eat red meat incorrectly and not with the right portion. A recent study published in the BMJ medical journal found that people who consumed more red meat had a higher risk of dying quickly due to many diseases.
Meat Can Trigger Cancer and Heart Disease
Red meat such as beef, goat, pork is contains a protein called haem which can damage the intestinal wall, increasing the risk of colon cancer.
Generally, red meat contains high saturated fat and bad cholesterol which over time accumulation can clog arteries and increase the risk of heart attack, coronary artery disease and stroke.
That is why, it is best for everyone not to consume meat often and even if they want to consume it, it should be in small portions and choose low-fat ones to prevent cancer and heart disease.
